IMMIGRATION REFORMS AND POLITIANS

When I watch the national and local news the first thing I see is people talking about Arizona's new law and immigration reforms, presentations and demonstrations. People with flags and signs asking for reasonable and fair immigration law. What can we do about it? And how can we take care of this big problem?It getting out of hand. It is time this government does something about it because is not going away. The politicians use this issue like it is a game, playing with people heads, and getting everybody confused and upset.

Arizona governor Jan Brewer just passed a new law 1070. Anyone who can't prove legal status could be arrested. This new law is really going to hurt The Latino communities in Arizona and all over The states. The governor of Arizona says This new law is going to help to clean up all the drug's traffickers and smugglers in our state. Maybe so. But The Latino community say it will hurt our dignity and also they don't want to be searched because their skin is brown.

The president of United States Barack Obama, promised to all the people who live here illegally in this country to legalize or give permits to stay and work here in The United States. But we all know is just politics. The Latino community is the minority in this country,and every time is a new campaign especially in the south of United States; California,Arizona,New Mexico, Texas and Florida.the politicians say; is time to get the browns skins excited we need the votes and support, they know how to manipulate the people. So they keep using the same old thing over and over again.

The United States of America is made of immigrants from all over the world.We all came to this great nation for a better life and freedom. everyday hundreds of people crossing the U,S borders by land, air and water, with the same dream and good faith just like the first settlers did a long time ago.All and all,yes we do need to secure our borders protect this nation from terrorists and criminals.But this is not the way to do it.

My Favorite Holiday

One of my most favorite time of the year is thanksgivings day.
Is when families and friends get together and celebrate, this memorable day.
people travel from all over just to get together for this big event.
some people just go to the families or friends to eat that delicious American food .
A traditional meal is turkey with all the trimmings and lets not forget all the pumpkin and apple pies, and many more Delicious home cooking. I always say is nothing like Mamas home cooking.
And lets not forget to say thank you to; God and all the wonderful people who sacrifice there life's and make all this possible for as to have freedom and a great nation to live .
This is my favorite time of the year because is when i see some of my family and friends.
The last 5 years i been going to my best Friends house to have dinner i travel like 5 hours in my old Dusty truck but is all worthy. She knows what to do in her kitchen , example: she make everything scratch and her pumpkin and apple pies are so delicious. my very favorite is pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top...But most of all, I can't Waite for this holiday to get here and see some of my family,friends and have my slide of pumpkin pie with that soft melting whipped cream on top.

THE RIVER TRAIL

Along the the green River edge, is a very nice long trail that goes on for miles. The dark green waters run through King county. This river is full of history. It the River could talk would have lots things to say and there would be lots mystery' and crimes solved. There would also be interesting conversations and family picnics to share.

On the rivers trail you see lots people walking, jogging and bicycling. also is lots sporting events all day long. is golf course's and soccer Fields, people talking about the games and kids haven a good time. but lets not forget about the great fishing of this river got to offer . every spring when the fishing season open is people fishing all over the rivers edge.


is lots thing to see too
example: lots green trees and bushes with wild flowers, berries and also you see lots small animals; like rabbits and birds. I live very close to the green river trails and i go for a walk or ride my bike almost everyday is nice to see all the people is always somebody new walking , running or bicycling.

When i go to the trails i try not to go late in the afternoon because it gets dark and scary and is people camping under the bridges or over passes . but is so nice and convenience for me.

i guess I'm very lucky to live close by this mysterious green river.
